Dubbing

I have been back in the UK since July 06 after 3 years, honing my skills in L.A. and N.Y. After working in such competitive markets I have become a diligent Dubbing mixer who can edit quickly whilst being accurate and creative. I have numerous broadcast credits and have recently completed two prime time BBC1 series. I can edit on my own Pro Tools System but prefer to work at Doghouse Post Production http://www.doghousepost.tv where I am the Studio Manager.

Overnight Dubbing

Since pioneering the concept of ‘flipside’ dubbing I have been successfully working with clients on the other side of the world. The concept means that you as the client can outsource your last minute overnight dubs to me in the UK. I then work on it during my daytime so that it’s ready for you in the morning. The beauty of the concept is that I only charge a day rate and you can charge your client a night rate, hence making a profit whilst getting some sleep! I have contacts around the world that can offer the same service to you wherever you may be situated. The concept is by no means limited to last minute jobs. A very effective system can be set up for mixers across the globe to work on the same project in tandem, handing over the Pro Tools File at the end of each others day. Sound Designing and Foley

Sound design is one of my favorite disciplines of Audio for TV and Film and I also really enjoyed designing for theatre. I use a 750GB sound bank of professional stereo SFX to quickly design the atmosphere or effect you need. I am always looking for the best sounds and can be found recording ‘live’ FX on my MD in all sorts of places. I can also do Foley work to creatively bring to life your picture with all manner of noises made within the recording booth. Sound recording

I have recorded for clients such as BBC, Channel 4, EA, Honda, TNT-Latin, Fox and NPR. After years of recording some of Los Angeles' finest ‘Voice Over’ talents and celebrities I am adept at getting the clearest audio off even the most trying talents on offer. My ethos is to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable which is how I keep the talent, and hence clients, happy. Please refer to my Demo Reel page for examples of my recording. 

Production Recording

I can do any job that is required on a closed or open production set. Mixing eight channels live is all in a days work. When working with one camera I like to use a wireless to give the cameraman freedom to move. Excellent results are guaranteed for any on-set recording and equipment can be provided. Scoring and Music Production

My love for audio comes from my love for sound. I understand sound from the physical properties, up to the creative application. I have been making tunes for years and have a variety available for your project. Refer to Reflex Productions for more information on finding the music for you.
